Ashlee Simpson has undergone a major transformation in the past few years. When the pop star first burst onto the scene, the, then "au naturale," cutie stood in the shadow of her more famous sister, Jessica Simpson, with her dark hair, button nose and petite figure. These days Ashlee has morphed into an understated beauty with a softer look and slimmer nose.

The singer, who's currently dating Fall Out Boy's mainman Pete Wentz, has been pretty vocal about her nose job and in a recent interview with Us Weekly, Simpson continues to defend her decision to have rhinoplasty. "I used to look at a beautiful girl on the cover of a magazine and think I could never be that," the 23-year-old admits in the magazine's latest issue. But in an effort to remain a role model for young girls, Simpson adds, "I was never really unhappy with how I looked, [and] I don't think I am more beautiful than I was [before]. I just see the same old goofy girl I see every day.
