From that, I discern that it is to be a very people-oriented and social-oriented site. Accordingly, I would suggest that you consider increasing the maximum allowable dimensions and file size for forum avatars that site users are allowed to upload.

Beyond that, I would suggest that you encourage site users to consider uploading photos of themselves. Naturally, some will always be paranoid about doing so, but it would add a more personal and human touch to the site.

Thanks for your suggestion GrimFinger. I just increased the avatar dimension from 100x100 to 120x120 and the upload avatar size to 15kb for now.
Of course everyone can upload photos of themselves if their want, it is up to them
