Paris, France – After a few seasons of being lost in the desert with seemingly no way back, Guy Laroche has signalled its return to prominence in the international ranks of fashion. They new collection, signed by Marcel Marongiu, left no doubts as to the bright future that lies ahead of the house.

Showing at the Palais de Tokyo, Marongiu wasted not a scintilla of a second in capturing the attention of the full house audience with his stunning collection. Silhouettes composed of strong coats, two piece pantsuits and slimming skirts took to the runway. No limits can exist when it comes to the elegance of the dress in petrol blue charmeuse. This dress bears the trend of a belt hidden within the back of the dress from the inside before making its appearance from the sides where it reaches to the front.

A high waist golden skirt is accompanied in an ensemble by a blouse with beautifully draped, balloon sleeves. It is followed by a dreamy black dress which falls just above the knees. Its sleeves are ¾ length, and is accessorized with a shawl in black fox.

As far as the other distinguishing details of the collection run, Marongiu has given great attention to the shoulders, which are either bare or angular.
